Explore the ancient lands of Pan, the god of shepherds, by hiking and exploring the Tuscan hilly reliefs.  Taking day trips to any of the  the ancient Medieval castles of the Florentines or Sienese or even some millennia old Etruscan ruins and tombs, like the one’s in Volterra.  There’s also San Gimignano, the Medieval Manhattan of Italy (best leather workers on the planet are located here!).
